Clive Bell and Virginia Woolf: A Presentation and Discussion

Mark Hussey will open this event with a presentation on Clive Bell’s relationship with Virginia Woolf, which will focus on Bell’s “role as first critic of [the] drafts” of Woolf’s “Melymbrosia” (an early draft of The Voyage Out [1915]). After this presentation, Hussey will discuss, with Benjamin Hagen (IVWS President), his recent biography of Bell (see cover above) and well as his current project on Bell’s letters. The event will close with an open Q&A session.
