Date: 6 December 2021
Time: 1:00pm ET (New York)
(The event will take place over Zoom. Members will be sent a Zoom link via email ahead of the event. The event will be recorded and made available to IVWS members.)

Mark Hussey will open this event with a presentation on Clive Bell’s relationship with Virginia Woolf, which will focus on Bell’s “role as first critic of [the] drafts” of Woolf’s “Melymbrosia” (an early draft of The Voyage Out [1915]). After this presentation, Hussey will discuss, with Benjamin Hagen (IVWS President), his recent biography of Bell (see cover above) and well as his current project on Bell’s letters. The event will close with an open Q&A session.
