In May 2023, the IVWS will hold elections for new officers as well as members of its Advisory Board (i.e., members-at-large). Current members-at-large may self-nominate to continue their service on the board. Per a pre-election ballot held earlier in March, the Society will expand its Advisory Board, accommodating up to 10 members. Per the results of this same ballot, the Society may also elect 2 persons to serve as co-Historian-Bibliographers.
Send nominations to vwoolfsociety@gmail.com and/or to the IVWS President at Benjamin.Hagen@usd.edu. Please confirm with the person you wish to nominate that they are willing to accept your nomination. Nominations are needed for the following positions:
President
Vice President
Secretary-Treasurer
Historian-Bibliographer(s)
Member-at-Large(s) (to serve on Advisory Board)
To review the responsibilities that come with these positions, we encourage people to review the IVWS By-Laws (found here). Current officers and members-at-large will be happy to discuss their experience serving in these positions.
Note: Later this year, as per the pre-election ballot noted above, the IVWS will have a second round of elections for three brand new positions, but nominations for them will not officially open until after the 2023 Annual Conference on Virginia Woolf (this will give current officers and members-at-large time to write up descriptions of the positions):
